1. Research, not professional advice

The Service is an independent Australian directory of private schools. All articles, comparisons, rankings, calculators, fee estimates and editorial commentary are provided for general research only. Nothing on the Service is, or is intended to be, professional advice, and you should not rely on it as such.

2. Fees, ICSEA, NAPLAN data

Fees, ICSEA scores, NAPLAN bands, sector classifications and other school-level data are reproduced from school websites, ACARA's My School, and other public sources. Numbers can change between annual updates — treat published figures as a snapshot and confirm current fee schedules and entry requirements directly with each school's enrolment office.

ICSEA is a contextual measure of educational advantage, not a measure of school quality. Use it to interpret NAPLAN comparisons, not to rank schools in absolute terms.

3. Rankings and editorial methodology

"Best", "top" and similar editorial framings on listicle pages are the editor's view based on the criteria published at /methodology. They are not statements of fact or guarantees of outcome. Where a list is sorted alphabetically rather than ranked, this is noted on the page itself.

4. No reviews collected on this site

We do not collect first-party reviews. Where you see a credibility signal next to a listed provider, it is a regulatory registration or industry credential as declared by the provider — not a star rating, not a review aggregate, and not a clinical-outcome testimonial.

5. Accuracy + corrections

We work hard to keep data current but errors do occur. If you find a factual error, an outdated fee, a wrongly attributed credential, or a listing that should be updated or removed, email [email protected]. We respond to factual corrections within three business days and add a visible "updated on" line to the affected page.
