Combined Associated Schools (CAS) NSW
NSW's second-tier independent boys' sporting association — six member schools. Competes in rugby, rowing, cricket, athletics + swimming. Often called "the smaller GPS" but with strong academic profiles + competitive sport.
History + context
CAS was formed in 1925 by 6 schools that didn't qualify for GPS. Has remained tightly 6 ever since. Knox + Trinity Grammar are the academic flagships; Cranbrook is the eastern Sydney representative.
